Trust Makes Me Forward
Article:
Trust is a powerful force. It is not just about believing in others, but also about believing in myself. Over the years, I have learned that trust—whether in people, in the process, or in my own abilities—is what truly pushes me forward.

I still remember my first public speaking competition. Standing backstage, my heart pounded and my palms were sweaty. I doubted whether I could deliver my speech without stumbling. At that moment, my teacher came over and gently said, “I trust you. You’ve prepared well. Just be yourself.” Her words were like a warm light cutting through my fear. That trust gave me the courage to step onto the stage. I took a deep breath, looked at the audience, and began. The speech went better than I had hoped, and I even won second place. That experience taught me that when someone trusts you, it can lift you higher than you ever imagined.
But trust is not only about others. It is also about trusting myself. In my studies, I often face difficult problems or setbacks. There were times when I wanted to give up, thinking I wasn’t smart enough. However, I gradually realized that self-trust is the foundation of progress. When I believe that I can improve through effort, I stop fearing failure and start taking action. Each small success builds my confidence, and that confidence drives me forward.
Trust also connects people. In team projects, when we trust each other’s abilities and intentions, we cooperate more smoothly and achieve better results. I have experienced how a team built on trust can overcome obstacles and create something greater than any individual could alone.
Trust is like a pair of invisible wings. It helps me overcome fear, embrace challenges, and keep moving ahead. Whenever I feel lost or hesitant, I remind myself: trust in others for support, and trust in myself for strength. That is the secret that makes me forward.
